About Bahrain Mental Math Olympiad 2026
Building on the success of our flagship international events — the Mental Math World Cup (MMWC) and the Global Mental Math Olympiad (GMMO) — Live Math Competitions and League is proud to announce the 2nd Edition of the Bahrain Mental Math Olympiad (BMMO 2026).
The prestigious BMMO 2026 will be held on 2nd May 2026 at Capital School, Bu Quwah, Bahrain, and continues as part of LiveMCL’s elite annual global championship series alongside MMWC and GMMO.
The Bahrain Mental Math Olympiad 2026 is being conducted by Live Math Competitions and League in collaboration with PECA International and E.A.S.E (Eduarty School of Excellence).
BMMO 2026 is a one-of-a-kind fully digital mental math competition, conducted in a competitive environment that enhances learning and engagement.
Participants will bring their own Android/iOS smartphones or tablets to compete in a unique, time-bound, multi-mode competition format with live leaderboards, offering instant results instead of traditional pen-and-paper exams.

Competition Formats and Challenges
BMMO 2026 offers a dynamic lineup of three Competition Challenges:
1) The Standard Mandatory Challenge
2) Addition & Subtraction Sprint Challenge
3) Multiplication Sprint Challenge
Standard Mandatory Challenge
Question Format: Engage with Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs).
Question Attempt: Attempt a total of 100 questions.
Duration as per Category:
1) Challenger Category (6 to 8 years): One round of 12 minutes
2) Master Category (9-11 years): One round of 15 minutes
3) Grandmaster Category (12 Years and above): One round of 15 minutes
Scoring System:
1) Correct Answer: +10 points
2) Incorrect Answer: -2 points
3) Skipped Questions: No negative marking
Sprints Optional Competition Challenges
- The Sprint Challenge encourages skill testing in additions-subtractions and multiplications.
- It provides a competitive platform for participants to elevate proficiency in these specific mental math topics.
- Participants compete in their respective age categories
Sprint 1: Additions and Subtractions Sprint Challenge
Question Format: Unlimited Multiple-Choice Questions (MCQs)
Duration as per Category:
- Challenger Category (Ages 6 to 8): One Round of 2 Minutes
- Master Category (Ages 9 to 11): One Round of 5 Minutes
- Grandmaster Category (Ages 12 and above): One Round of 5 Minutes
Scoring:

Sprint 2: Multiplications Sprint Challenge
Question Format: Unlimited Multiple-Choice Questions (MCQs)

Participant Guidelines and Terms
1. Assigned Timeslots: All participants will receive specific timeslots according to their respective categories to report to the venue on their registered email address.
2. Registration and Reporting: Participants are required to register and check in at the Welcome Desk at least 30 minutes before their assigned timeslot.
3. Attire: All participants must be dressed in their school or training institute uniforms.
4. Identification: All participants must carry age-proof documentation or a school ID card, which will be checked at the welcome desk
5. Device Usage: All participants must bring their own fully charged Android or iOS smartphones or tablets for the competition. If a participant's device is not in working condition for any reason, they will be disqualified, and the organizers will not be responsible.
6. Wi-Fi: A private Wi-Fi internet connection will be provided by the organizers to all registered participants at the venue for the Competition.
7. Rough Work: Participants are allowed to use Pen and Paper for rough work during the competition.
8. Mock Test: Contestants must engage in the Mock Test using their registered email ID on our Competition app “Arena by LiveMCL”. User IDs and password-change instructions will be sent to the registered email. This will ensure that smooth participation on the competition day
9. Accuracy Registration Details: Ensure that accurate registration details are provided as changes post-registration are not possible. Incorrect information may result in registration cancellation without fee refund.
10. Multiple Registrations: While registering a second child, parents must use a different email ID. Email id provided during registration will be the login id of the participants and hence has to be unique for each participant
11. Dispute Resolution: The Live Math Competitions and League organizers hold the right to make final decisions and interpretations on any disputes or issues related to the competition.
12. Force Majeure: In the case of a Force Majeure event leading to competition cancellation or rescheduling, organizers shall not be held liable.
13. Refund policy: We regret to inform you that our events operate under a strict no-refund policy. Once registration is completed, no refunds will be provided for any reason.
14. Terms and Conditions: Organizers retain the right to modify the competition's terms and conditions at their discretion and without prior notice
